Spring in Nisswa

Spring is a great time to discover what's coming to life after the winter season is over!

The fishing opener is May 10th – if you're on Gull Lake watch for the Welcome Wannigan. This is a tradition since 1959, the Welcome Wannigan serves hot coffee and donuts to fishermen on Gull Lake on the morning of the opener!

It's a great time to get out those walking shoes and bikes and enjoy the Paul Bunyan Trail. Enjoy all the budding trees and blossoming wildflowers and don't forget to look for the returning birds from the south!
